- EQUIP Classes
At Centerpointe we are pleased to share a variety of exciting, enlightening, and even entertaining workshops and lectures. These are designed to “equip” you for your continuing journey growing closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. This program touches both stage one and stage two of our mission to be a body of believers that are Drawn In, Filled Up, and Sent Out. The topics are designed to appeal to those with varying levels of historic and religious knowledge, experience, and education. We endeavor to offer more than one topic each “Equip Sunday” (held once a month) to allow people with different interests to attend according to their level of experience and interest.
Equip Classes offered on February 12th are:
For Adults:
How the Gospels use the Old Testament, led by Thomas Brown. Join us for a deeper look into the Gospels. In this series, we’ll explore how each Gospel cites and evokes passages from the Old Testament. On February 12th we’ll look closely at the enigmatic “Bread of Life” passage from John 6. How is Jesus like the manna that fed the Isrealities in the wilderness? Future classes in the series, each is standalone so join one or all, will look at a section of each of the remaining three Gospels and their Old Testament parallels. Participants should gain a greater appreciation for the way the entire Bible is knit together into a seamless whole.
Jesus’ Top Ten Miracles, led by Frank Napoleon, Jr. Water into Wine, Walking on Water, Fishes and Loaves….Understand the deeper meaning behind the key miracles and how they are as real and impactful today as they were in the early days of the church.
Welcome to Centerpointe, led Pastor Mike Barris. All who are new to Centerpointe are invited to this great gathering. Find out more about who we are, what we believe, and what ministries we have available. This is also a great opportunity to meet some of our leaders and staff team.
