Centerpointe Kids believe that providing a safe environment in which to learn is important and we have taken several measures to insure that the Centerpointe Kids is a safe and healthy place to be.

Welcome Stations

Upon your arrival please stop at the welcome station located just inside our coffeehouse, CentePerk. You will receive a nametag for each member of your family. A security receipt with a unique code that coordinates with the code on your child’s nametag will be issued to children 2nd grade and younger. The receipt must be matched to the code printed on your child’s nametag in order for the child to be picked up. This provides peace of mind for our teachers and staff as well as for the parents by ensuring that only the person who brought the child can pick up the child from class. Children who are in 3rd through 6th grade are still advised to have a parent pick them up from class but do not need a receipt.

Sunday Classes

All of our classes provide opportunities for children to grow in their faith through songs, games, and activities that reinforce biblical truths. Caring adults who share their own walk with Christ with the kids lead each class. Our Sunday program is offered at both services in the following ways:

9am Blended Family Service

Kids attend worship with their families in the Worship Center for songs and a short message and then are dismissed to class with their leaders and can be picked up after service in the following classroom:

Room 2 ~ Infants-6th grade

10:30am Contemporary Service

Children begin their classes by meeting in the following rooms:

Room 1 ~ Infants/Toddlers (2 years old)
Room 3 ~ 3 years old -Kindergarten
Room 4 ~ 1st/2nd grade
Room 5 ~ 3rd/4th grade
Room 6 ~ 5th/6th grade (Club 56)

At both services the conference room in the Worship Center offers diaper changing facilities and a quiet place to feed your infant. The worship service is available via an audio feed.

Kids’ Worship

Worship is a very important part of our Sunday mornings at Centerpointe. Before they head out to their own classes, kids are praising God in the following ways:

9am Service: Every week kids start in the 9am service with their families to praise God in song and prayer. They are then dismissed to class. One the 1st Sunday of each month 3rd – 6th graders are invited to stay for the entire service to receive communion.

10:30am Service: Every week, after they are dropped off in their age group classroom, the 3 year olds through 2nd graders meet in Room 4 to sing their praises to God with songs like, “The B-I-B-L-E” and “Deep and Wide.” They dance, use hand motions, and learn how much God loves to hear them sing!

On the 1st Sunday of each month 3rd-6th graders are invited to the adult service to worship and receive communion with their families. On the other Sundays, this age group joins the 7th & 8th grade (PULSE) students for a rockin’ time of worship in song called InsideOut. They meet in Room 7/8 and are led by their peers to engage in genuine, authentic worship in song.

Wellness Policy

Our wellness policy helps ensure that our children are feeling their best so they can learn and have a great time! We are staffed and equipped to care for well children only, so we ask parents to keep their children home if he or she exhibits the following symptoms: a fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea, or any other signs of communicable illness. If your child becomes sick after he or she has been checked in, you will be paged.
